1. Position Title: Field Application Specialist
2. Reports to: Manager, Field Application
3. Department: Field Application and Market Development
4. Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform sample analysis and product demonstrations, and provide training
and support for our sales team
• Deliver training and technical support to customers, both in-house and
on-site as well as by e-mail and telephone
• Develop market-specific applications to become a technical expert and
point of reference for internal and external customers
• Represent the company at national and international meetings and events
• Pro-actively develop strong and lasting relationships with our customers
• Liaise with parent company in USA and global application Networks to
ensure successful resolution of customer problems and questions and
provide excellent customer service.
5. Key competencies:
• Laboratory hands on skills in the work of LC-MS based Omics research
• Possess good presentation and communications skills in both Korean and
English.
• Proficient with computer operating systems and networking.
• Ability to travel to local cities and foreign countries required
6. Qualifications and Experience:
• An academic degree (MS or equivalent experience) in Chemistry or another
area of the Life Sciences is a prerequisite for this role, as well as a
good working knowledge of mass spectrometry and related analytical
techniques, especially LC/MS/MS.
• Minimum three years of hands-on experience with mass spectrometry and
liquid chromatography.
• Experience in( nano) LC-MS based Omic research such as Proteomics and
metabolomics is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, a good command of the English language,
willingness to travel frequently and a valid driving license are also
essential for this role.
• Possess excellent presentation skills in both Korean and English
