[District Service Business Manager]
The successful candidate will be responsible for Life Science, Diagnostics and Applied Markets for Korea Customer Support business. This role is accountable for exceeding the Korean Customer Satisfaction targets, profitable revenue growth, and development of employee skills: motivation and performance. This individual should have a track record as a leader with demonstrated results in strategic thought and operational execution. The individual should also be able to implement key service business strategies working in a cross functional way with both the Service Management as well as local Korea Sales management. This individual should have a strong track record of leading organizational change.
Fundamental Competencies Required for District Service Business Manager:
•Business acumen, competency of analyzing and acting on financial information to drive business results (costs & revenue)
•Proven track-record in professional customer support management with 3-5 years practical support and/or sales experience on Analytical products.
•Educational degree in relevant discipline, Change management/Change Leader
•Strong interpersonal skills; Team building/development and cross-functional leadership skills
•Effective people management and coaching skills
•Customer oriented, Effective collaboration skills
•Strategic thinking skills
•Maintain Capacity and Capability of Technical Resources to fit for Business Growth and Customer Requirements.
•Ability to translate Country plans to clear District operational plans with priorities, and clearly communicate to team.
•Achievements and/or results in implementing new programs to improve customer satisfaction highly desirable.
•Successfully have translated strategy into tactics for initiative/project
•Manages supervisors and/ or employees responsible for design/ implementation of support engineering programs/ processes

Job Qualification
•Bachelors, Masters or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, Biology or related discipline. Post-graduate such as MBA and/or certification/license a definite plus
•Typically 5+ years relevant work experience gained in a broad technical leadership role in a country capacity and building organizational capability.
•A functional leadership position with demonstrated people management skills and ability to manage a diverse team will be a preference.
•Strategic thinking, innovative, takes initiative and drives changes, contributing credibly in a regional leadership team, and has a demonstrated track record of meeting goals and targets and in leading cross-functional or cross-geography teams and projects
•Able to balance multiple priorities and stakeholder interests, demonstrated ability to work effectively within a complex multinational matrixed organization
•Able to travel across SAPK countries
•Demonstrable people skills and communication and influencing skills.
•Fluent in English
