The ability to identify protein biomarkers and quantify them with high precision and accuracy is critical to the study of the mechanisms of disease. Data-independent acquisition (DIA) workflows using high-resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS) have become highly utilized for proteomics research, providing qualitative and quantitative information on proteins and their impact on biological pathways. DIA methods are well-suited to label-free quantitation (LFQ) workflows, which have several advantages over other techniques utilizing protein/peptide labeling1 . However, MS sensitivity and quantitative dynamic range often limit the quantitative analysis of low-abundance proteins and peptides. This poster showcases the depth of proteome coverage and LFQ accuracy and precision using the high MS/MS sensitivity of Zeno SWATH DIA2 on the ZenoTOF 8600 system. |
